A photographer is a very important part of your big day. Once the day has past, you will only have your memories and having a great set of images and or video can be a lovely way of looking back on your special day in years to come. It is also great to have a range of images that captured the special moments, to show to friends and family that may not have been able to attend the day themselves.
The cost of a photographer can vary greatly depending upon their experience and the type of package you chose.
Many photographers will have a range of packages you can chose from. These packages will usually be based on the number of images taken, or time at the wedding and how you want the images afterwards. It may be that you are happy to just have the images provided to you on a disk or memory stick, so you can have them printed out yourself. This will often be a lot cheaper than choosing a package which includes the cost of a printed photo book or album.
